Steve Shaw - First Vice President
Steve Shaw was born and raised in Valley Stream on Long Island. He graduated from Siena College where he met his incredible wife, Jennifer, a lifelong Yorktown resident their freshman year. They moved to the Woodlawn section of The Bronx and then to Riverdale where they started their wonderful family. In 2020, Steve and Jennifer moved to Jennifer's hometown of Yorktown to continue to raise their children, Jack and Chloe, both students of Yorktown High School.
Steve serves as a Project Manager and Corporate Trainer for the second largest eDiscovery firm in the world. Over the years he has been tasked with managing global projects for some of the largest law firms, and developing and implementing internal certification programs. He currently serves as the Head of Product Learning developing training documents, videos, and certifications for all internally developed software.
Having moved at the start of the pandemic, Steve was fortunate to make fast friends through his daughter's youth soccer team and local community organizations. He is committed to public service and volunteerism and is proud to be a Yorktown Lion!
Denise Poulin - Immediate Past President
Lucille and her family have been a resident of Yorktown since 1989 when they purchased their home in London Woods. Lucille and family are members of St. Patrick’s Church in Yorktown. Lucille is an active member of her parish becoming a eucharistic minister in 1992.
Lucille retired after 32 years at the IBM Corporation. She then joined the Yorktown Lions in 2022 as she wanted to give back to the community and volunteer. She enjoyed many of the Lion activities with her daughter thru the years.
Lucille’s favorite activity are the summer concerts. She loves walking around, chatting with neighbors and meeting new people.
