Halloween Parade & Carnival

Join us for our annual Halloween Parade & Carnival! Here are the details:
Event: Saturday, October 17, 2026, rain date Sunday, October 18
Everybody is welcome to walk in the parade in their best costumes!
If you’re walking in the parade…
Lineup begins at 1:15PM in front of the firehouse on Commerce Street, Yorktown
Parade will begin at 2PM from Commerce Street down to the Jack DeVito Memorial Track & Field on Veterans Road
Entrance to the carnival will be from the driveway on Veterans Road
Kids walking in the parade will receive a goodie bag supplied by the Yorktown Lions!
Carnival will begin after the parade with free entry!
There will be games, activities with lots of candy!
Plus food trucks and more!
Annual Turkey & Fixings Drive
Join us for our annual Turkey & Fixings food drive!
Every year, the Yorktown Lions Club collects donations to help support members in our community this holiday season. We work directly with our local food pantries as well as our local school district to provide donations!
We will be setting up in person drop off days where you can drop off a whole turkey or ham, along with Thanksgiving dinner sides. Be on the lookout for confirmed days!
We also collect monetary donations. Those donations help us shop for the items that the pantries are missing so we can help them with providing full meals for our community members!

Donations will go into our food pantry fund that will be used to help do that shopping!
Any leftover funds will remain in the food pantry fund so we can help our local pantries throughout the year when they have a big need! So no matter what, your donations will help address food insecurity right in our community.
